Town News: Yard Debris Notice Oct 12 2019

Yard debris is collected on the 2nd and 4th Fridays of October, November and December. Collection began yesterday, but due to mechanical issues, the contractor was unable to finish. They anticipate resuming collection on Monday. Debris must be placed in a biodegradable bag or bundled in a length not to exceed five (5) feet and fifty (50) pounds. Town News: Public Notice on FEMA Program

The Town of Holden Beach has applied for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Public Assistance (PA) Program funding through the North Carolina Emergency Management (NCEM) as a sub-recipient. This project is for restoration of engineered beach in the Town of Holden Beach, damaged due to storm surge during Tropical Storm Michael. The Town of Holden Beach plans to restore the facility back to its pre-disaster design, function, and capacity within the existing footprint.
