Beginners’ Tai Chi will be held on Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. in the Public Assembly. For those who are interested, a Guided Meditation will be offered at 5:15 p.m. before class begins.
Tai Chi is a gentle form of physical activity that improves health, wellness and balance for the mind, body and spirit. Originating in ancient China, Tai Chi is one of the most effective exercises for health of mind and body. Although an art with great depth of knowledge and skill, it can be easy to learn and soon delivers its health benefits. For many, it continues as a lifetime journey.
The instructor is Caroline Bailey, who is certified with the International Tai Chi for Health Institute and as a Flex Instructor with the Silver Sneakers program.
